Sienna is a neuroscience student with a minor in Mind and Brain Studies in the Philosophy Department at George Washington University. She is passionate about science communication and connecting people with educational resources that inspire curiosity, as that is how her own love of science, philosophy, and anthropology was cultivated. Her academic interests primarily focus on understanding the biology of consciousness and the complex interactions between health, culture, and the environment. Her current research at George Washington University's Department of Neuroscience focuses on the development of next-generation therapeutics through drug repurposing to address antimicrobial resistance in parasitic hookworms.
