Lori is pursuing a masters in biotechnology at Johns Hopkins University, and is also a recent George Washington University graduate with a dual degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology and Chemistry. Her interest in STEM emerged in her sophomore year at GWU as a Biochemistry Lab research assistant, where she witnessed interdisciplinary collaboration happening behind the scenes without any public recognition. Lori views The Catalyst as a bridge between the disconnect in scientific fields, and has the goal of making research more accessible and sparking curiosity in STEM.
